Crossing the Larkya Pass, 5125 meters, is a challenging thing during Manaslu circuit trek. Due to its high altitude, climbing and crossing the pass is tough. You are at a risk of altitude sickness. Also, the pass remains covered in snow and ice during winter and hence remains closed. Likewise, crossing the pass in monsoon is also tough.

Manaslu circuit trekking is a restricted area trekking in Nepal. You will need three trekking permits to trek in the region. They are the Manaslu restricted area permit, Manslu Conservation Permit and Annapurna Conservation Permit,  The slow trekkers can;t get permit,  For this trek, required minimum 2 trekkers.
If you are trekking to Tsum valley also, then you will require the Tsum valley permit. Also, if you have any plans on joining the Annapurna trekking route while returning, you need to get a TIMS card.

After a great scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, walking on scenic trail past nice villages of Phakding and Mono to reach famous Namche Bazaar, the main town and capital of Khumbu around Everest region.
From here heading high to picturesque Gokyo Lake with a climb to Gokyo Ri for stunning views of mountains and then heading towards Everest base camp crossing high Cho-la Pass to reach the other side of Khumbu area in complete wilderness for some days and then joining the mainstream trekking route to Everest base camp.
Our return journey leads back to Lukla with climb to scenic Kalapathar for marvelous views of mountains that surround this top black rock ridge with Everest at the closest.
The Gokyo valley and EBC Trek  completes with a sweeping flight to Kathmandu after an experience of a life time adventure.

Island Peak (6173m.) also known as Imja Tse, climbing is challenging and technically difficult climbing. It is the extension of Lhotse Shar which is very popular for trekking trail that can be reached crossing Everest Base Camp.. The name of the peak is Island because it seems like an island from Dingboche. Being located on the top of Chhukung Glacier, the peak is very challenging for climbing. The difficult geographical landscape between Mt. Amadablam and Lhotse makes it challenging to reach the summit.

A Austrian Climber death in manaslu Expedition

According to Gyanendra Shrestha, an official at the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation, the expedition organiser confirmed on Friday afternoon that Zoltan Benedek breathed his last while descending from Camp IV.
Benedek successfully summitted the world’s eighth highest peak on Wednesday, Shrestha said.
Born in Odorhei of  Austria in 1964, Benedek was a part of a 14-member-team led by Daniel Lee Mazur, according to officials at the Seven Summit Treks.
Efforts are underway to bring his body back to Kathmandu.
